Children
The primary goals of our children's activities are to help children:
- Understand what it means to become a Christian and lead each child, as the Holy Spirit convicts, to make a commitment to Christ.
- Feel love and reverance for God and to be secure in His love
- Grow in their understanding of forgiveness and of God's unconditional love for them
Awana
Awana is a program for children built around the idea of hiding God's Word in children's hearts. Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Each week, children from Kindergarten through 8th grade memorize scripture verses, hear a Bible message, and have a great time playing games with friends. The Awana program is one of our church's main evangelistic outreaches to the community, reaching over 200 children each week.

Childrens Church
Grace Fellowship Church provides children's church for ages birth through 3rd grade every Sunday morning at 11:00. More than a baby-sitting service, the teachers take the students through a curriculum that is age appropriate. The goals are to teach the Word of God, to build friendships and to introduce the concept of worship to the children.
Joyful Noise
The Joyful Noise Children's choir is open to all 2nd - 8th grade students who enjoy singing. They normally present two musical programs a year, one in the fall and one in the spring. See the description on the Music page for details about practice.
Nursery
GFC Nursery believes all of God's children are important to our future as a church family. We are committed to giving the highest quality care and ministering Jesus' love to each child in our care through Bible-based activities, Christian love, and concern of each Nursery worker.

VBS
Every summer, Grace Fellowship Church hosts a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for the children of our community. We average well over 200 children a year along with a host of adult volunteers. Children enjoy Bible lessons, verse memorization, crafts, music, skits, games and refreshments. On the final day we invite all the parents to our VBS program at noon, followed by a hot dog lunch.
