Ministry Update The Martins are serving in Educational Ministries in Riga, Latvia with Church Dynamics International. Both teach in the Riga Bible Institute and Bill is responsible for scheduling classes and teachers, promotional materials for the school, and publishing SAKTA, the school's newsletter. They will return to the U.S. in the last week of April to visit their daughter Dee and family in Kansas and then Cindy's brother in Arkansas.
In May, Cindy will have her medical checkup, and then on to Minneapolis and possibly N. Dakota. They will be meeting with people to share RIBI's ministry and needs. In early June they will be working on their home in the U.S., and on June 15-Aug. 14 they will be taking Latvian language classes at Indiana University. They will return to Latvia in early September.
Prayer Requests
  • Pray for favor in the sight of RIBI's donors and for the provision of more donors.
  • Pray for the ability to negotiate a good rent at our current site.
  • Pray for Cindy's health.
  • The first classes of the New Year have started. Pray that they will go well.
  • Pray for time to move our boxes from storage, finding additional furniture for the apartment.
  • Pray for visiting missionaries who are in Latvia trying to renew their Russian visas.
